Castel dell'Aquila and its Elisir d'Amore Park is a place of high monumental, artistic, landscape and environmental value.
Its historical, artistic, architectural, plant and animal heritage must be safeguarded.
This can only happen with the cooperation of all visitors.
Castel dell'Aquila welcomes visitors of all ages, genders and origins; families with children, groups and school groups are welcome.

Entrance to the park is permitted from 9:00. The park closes at 19:00 while the refreshment service closes at 23:00.
Ticket purchase is possible either by booking the ticket online or by purchasing it on site.
However, it is advisable to book online for those who wish to be guaranteed participation in the free activities made available to visitors, which have a limited number of places until all available places are filled.
The cost of the ticket is €10
Access is free for children up to 8 years old.

Protect and respect the environment
In consideration of the site's qualities and to ensure the proper conservation and safety of its characteristics, we offer some behavioral guidelines in the interest of the community, along with a summary of activities that can and cannot be carried out for reasons of safety, decorum, and protection.
These are simple rules that all visitors are required to read and respect.
The park is accessible until there is sunlight; after that, entry will no longer be possible, except for those who have made a prior reservation to access specific areas where services and experiences are available by reservation: dining, swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, etc.

It is strictly forbidden to light fires.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the park and the woods.

Waste must be disposed of in the designated recycling bins.

Damaging the meadows, hedges, and trees is not allowed.

It is not permitted to move or tamper with furnishings, structures, and fences (which serve merely as indicators of paths and are not suitable for leaning or sitting) or to sit or lean on railings and the edges delimiting areas or scenic viewpoints.
For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to move or relocate installations and stones from their positions. For example, the paths and trails are terraced, so moving a stone could cause significant harm to people walking on the paths below.

Respect animals
Abandoning animals of any kind in the Park is prohibited.
Bringing pets is allowed, but they must be kept on a leash and you must pay attention to cleaning up after them.
Visitor safety
In the Park it is permitted to walk, taking care to use clothing and footwear suitable for the dirt paths, uneven paths or those containing steps, stones etc., to stop, to visit individually or in groups independently, or accompanied by teachers and/or tourist or nature guides authorised in accordance with current legislation.

It is the visitor's responsibility to use maximum caution and attention in order to avoid tripping, sprains and other injuries.

Visitors are required to read and comply with the provisions contained in the notices or recommendations, including those relating to safety, published on the website and in any case to behave in a manner that is suitable and consistent with the diligence of a good father of the family.
In case of rain or strong wind, visitors are advised to pay particular attention on paths which by their nature may become slippery, especially where they include steps.

For the safety of visitors, we warn that the Park and the Woods by their very nature may present dangers due to different terrain profiles, non-uniform walking surfaces, steps or stones worn or made slippery by rain or humidity or anything else.

There are various routes, from the simplest to the most complex, in this regard it is recommended that visitors who are less experienced in trekking, pregnant women, and those with cardiac or other problems use the simpler routes and paths around the castle and not tackle the more complicated ones, which require special requirements to be tackled safely.

It is also recommended not to leave the paths, not to walk on grassy or watery slopes, edges and embankments, not to climb on parapets or lean over them, not to stop under trees in the presence of strong winds, given the risk of falling branches.
Photographs and video footage:
There are many structures in the park (for example but not limited to giant hearts, giant padlock, butterfly wings, elephant, tigers, bronze horses, reclining Buddha etc. etc.). For safety reasons it is strictly forbidden to touch, climb, mount and/or lean on these structures.

In the Park and in the woods, which develop within a natural area of 40 hectares, part of a larger area, where you could rarely encounter animals. In this case, visitors are required to maintain appropriate behavior for their own safety and that of the animals.
It is specified that any damage to persons or things resulting from the failure to adopt conduct characterized by diligence and prudence and not appropriate to the routes present on the Castel dell'Aquila site and its Park and property are beyond the responsibility of the management and property with consequent exclusion of any claim for compensation.
It is possible to freely take photos or videos for amateur purposes and/or for personal documentation for non-commercial use. Any other use of the image must be previously authorized by the Management of Castel dell'Aquila.

All visitors are required to strictly respect the opening and closing times of the park, which are posted at the entrances to the site.

Any reports of an urgent nature for prevention or in any case in reference to safety and for damage to people or things must be communicated immediately to the Castel dell'Aquila staff present.

All visitors are required to behave in accordance with common rules of good manners.
In general, behaviors that may jeopardize the safety of the place or other visitors are not permitted.

It is necessary to respect the general indications given on the signs of the Castle and the Park and of the entire property and what is indicated by the staff.

Violation of the above provisions is punishable under the Penal Code and current laws on the protection of Cultural Heritage.

Access to the park constitutes acceptance of the above regulations.
